Continuous sinuous contour drawing in the whiplash-line tradition; long elastic S-curves where hair, drapery and stems dissolve into one another. Ornamental integration of border and figure — arches, halos and interlocking tendrils guide a flowing, asymmetric composition. Flat colour fields closed by the contour, with light modelling rather than painterly shading. Muted lithographic palette: creamy ivory ground, sage and olive green, dusty rose, soft ochre and muted gold, with only small saturated accents. Slightly aged paper grain and fine stippled decorative texture; confident unbroken line, smooth controlled surface.
