Naïve Doodle

Childlike naive crayon-and-coloured-pencil drawing: chunky wax strokes with wobbly uneven outlines, heavy pressure marks, waxy smudges and uneven scribble shading that overshoots the shapes. Flat bright unblended colors; simple geometric forms without academic perspective, realistic light-and-shadow or atmospheric depth, with depth suggested only by overlap and scale. Deliberately disproportionate importance (large foreground subject, tiny background), rounded friendly features and simplified shapes. Bold saturated palette on a plain paper ground; cheerful, spontaneous and proudly unrefined.
