Risograph Illustration

Risograph spot-colour print: two to four translucent oil-based inks (for example fluorescent pink, aqua blue, bright orange and black) printed one pass at a time, so overlapping layers overprint into new blended hues. Flat graphic shapes and posterized tones built from coarse halftone dots or grain/dither texture; the inks are semi-transparent and slightly mottled, with visible screen texture and paper show-through. Deliberate slight misregistration — colours offset a little, leaving a soft ink halo and crisp-or-ghosted edges. Limited spot palette on warm off-white paper; high-key and cheerful, stencil-like flat areas with no smooth photographic gradient. No lettering.
